Pastor Scott,
I am Michele Magaws (ex SIL) and friend. I just wanted to ask if you put me in your prayers. I just have a lot on my plate right now and its taking a toll on me mentally. I know I do not have problems as bad as others but lately all I want to do is sit and cry because of what is being thrown at me, especially with attending this tax class. There is just not enough me or time right now and I'm just really stressed. I would also ask that you pray for my perception of God and for me to be able to release whatever deep seeded feelings I have had for the past few years. I, myself am not even sure what they are but I think I know where they stem from and I don't want to have them and know I shouldn't. And prayers for my friends who all are having their own struggles.

11.4.10 Finalization of lease for new building. One time gifts to help with the move. Jim Wilson as he coordinates the move. Members to help getting the building ready. Nov. 21 all church day to work on building.
Praise, unanimous vote to make the move and pledges have been met for the move.
Praise Nice job Team 8.2.10 Building search team Jim W., Kim S., Debbie O., Ron L., and Barbara H. as they search for the building God wants us to stay in for awhile. This needs to be accomplished before the end of October so we can put the 2 months notice in.
10.29.10 Building vote for Sunday to make the move to in January to 3451 Jefferson Davis Hwy Fredericksburg, VA 22408. We still need only $22
10.21.10 Negotiations on building and finding out what needs to be done for occupancy rating.

10.29.10 faith in ACTION – We still need the ministry project. Continue to pray for all attendees at TBWC to commit to 4 weeks of attendance, 4 weeks of small groups, 4 weeks of devotionals. Also that we will be able to reach more people for Jesus through need based Declaring Jesus. WE need to raise a few more dollars to pay for this.
10.7.10 faith in ACTION campaign – Pray for everyone to get involved by being at each of the four services, joining a CARE group and helping with the outreach ministry. We need the funds and for God’s direction for which project to take on.
8.26.10 Pastor Scott as he starts to put the Faith in Action campaign together, pray for leaders to help get it all started, members to get excited about being able to help others, people outside the church to get involved with a service project, we find God’s will for the service project and we will be able to get the word out.

1st one this Sunday. Pray that those that want to attend will be able to attend. Pray for PS as he teaches this class. Pray for someone to teach it in the future

10.6.10 We will be receiving the survey forms soon for natural Church Development (NCD). Pray for High School through adults to fill out surveys. For the NCD team to find the pest way to use these results.

please pray for me - i desperately need deliverance from severe spiritual warfare oppression. its supernatural and i have been working with the church to get deliverance. i have many afflictions physically, can't sleep, etc. thanks 4 the prayer...


9.10.10 Yes I made it down to the area....just got home Wed. PM. I actually ended up coming earlier than I planned. My mother lives in Newport News. She had a heart attack & surgery so I had to pack quickly & take off sooner than expected. Then went back up to Hartwood to watch 4 of my grandkids while my son & daughter-in-law were in Hawaii for 8 days. I called about my RN licence...it's still getting processed. I looked at a couple properties but can't buy until my house here sells. I looked at RN jobs but haven't applied yet because I needed to get back up here to pack up my belongings & get my house on the market. Please continue to pray as this is very difficult saying good-bye to everyone that I am so close to & my house needs to sell as quickly as possible. I am trying to get some last minute painting, replacing doors, everything that will help it to sell. I am trying to give away as many of my belongings as I can.... we all seem to accumulate way to many things ! After 30 years in one house & raising 4 kids here it makes it
difficult to want to part with anything but I am doing it . I have an aunt that I am very close with who is not dealing with me leaving at all. She has no daughters so she claims me. Leaving my church family is going to be very hard... been in this church for 39 years. But my kids & grandkids are really looking forward to me moving to the area so the move will be worth it. Plus I still need to find the right job &
then the right house. So yes please continue to pray for me. I really appreciate all the prayers!

8.12.10 Hi....Thanks for your return message... I would appreciate being put on the prayer chain. I am planning on coming down sometime before the end of the month.... my kids are going to Hawaii on the 28th so I am babysitting 4 of my grandkids then. I will be using that time to job search. I may come early. I actually got hired here but it is only a 2 day a week with no benefits job.... can't live on that. My prayer would be that I find the right employment & then am able to sell my house here in Franklin quickly as I need the money from it for a down payment & I don't want it sitting empty.... besides I still have to pay utilities on it while it is empty. I can stay at my son & daughter -in-laws while I house hunt so can take my time doing that but also then need to find the right house. I have a friend moving in to my house, Lori, pray for safe travel please? She is driving back from Oregon next week.
8.12.10 I have a few... if you don't mind. To start, a friend of mine lost his wife to cancer 5 years ago. He lost their daughter a month ago while on vacation in the Dominican Republic... hit by a bus while on a motorcycle with her and she died in front of him, she was 11. He is now in a wheelchair and about to start physical therapy. His name is John Reiner.
Second, my friend and co-worker Becky, I told you about before. She lost her husband on 7/18. She is doing better, but hitting an angry phase. Her daughter (Katie, 4) is just starting to talk about it to other people, and Becky is getting angry when people seem to have a problem with her being so honest about it with Katie.
Third is me. You know I struggle as a single mom. I have been in and out of Dr Offices this summer. First a biopsy (cervical), then another procedure that cut off a chunk. Now I go on Friday to see if I am ok now or need surgery. I have in my head that I can't have this issue because I have to be there for Dustin. I guess the prayer I am asking for is to make sure I am ok now so that I can concentrate on Dustin. ----Lisa Hotchkiss Kidwell

After surgery she asked if the rods were in and if she could move with a resounding YES! the Dr. replied. BUT more importantly YES was the reply from Christ Jesus the ultimate healer of Katie. My God is a Mighty God with amazing plans and a hope for all who love and serve him like my amazing niece KATIE!!! I LOVE YOU KATIE and will are all praying for a quick recovery. I am planning on coming down sometime before the end of the month.... my kids are going to Hawaii on the 28th so I am babysitting 4 of my grandkids then. I will be using that time to job search. I may come early. I actually got hired here but it is only a 2 day a week with no benefits job.... can't live on that. My prayer would be that I find the right employment & then am able to sell my house here in Franklin quickly as I need the money from it for a down payment & I don't want it sitting empty.... besides I still have to pay utilities on it while it is empty. I can stay at my son & daughter -in-laws while I house hunt so can take my time doing that but also then need to find the right house. Lots & lots of decisions... lots & lots of reasons to trust God to get me through the next few months! ---Thanks, Donna Rodgers
This lady is moving to our area and is looking for a church home for herself and family. PS

8.12.10 I have a few... if you don't mind. To start, a friend of mine lost his wife to cancer 5 years ago. He lost their daughter a month ago while on vacation in the Dominican Republic... hit by a bus while on a motorcycle with her and she died in front of him, she was 11. He is now in a wheelchair and about to start physical therapy. His name is John Reiner.
Second, my friend and co-worker Becky, I told you about before. She lost her husband on 7/18. She is doing better, but hitting an angry phase. Her daughter (Katie, 4) is just starting to talk about it to other people, and Becky is getting angry when people seem to have a problem with her being so honest about it with Katie.
Third is me. You know I struggle as a single mom. I have been in and out of Dr Offices this summer. First a biopsy (cervical), then another procedure that cut off a chunk. Now I go on Friday to see if I am ok now or need surgery. I have in my head that I can't have this issue because I have to be there for Dustin. I guess the prayer I am asking for is to make sure I am ok now so that I can concentrate on Dustin. ----Lisa Hotchkiss Kidwell

Second, my friend and co-worker Becky, I told you about before. She lost her husband on 7/18. She is doing better, but hitting an angry phase. Her daughter (Katie, 4) is just starting to talk about it to other people, and Becky is getting angry when people seem to have a problem with her being so honest about it with Katie.
Third is me. You know I struggle as a single mom. I have been in and out of Dr Offices this summer. First a biopsy (cervical), then another procedure that cut off a chunk. Now I go on Friday to see if I am ok now or need surgery. I have in my head that I can't have this issue because I have to be there for Dustin. I guess the prayer I am asking for is to make sure I am ok now so that I can concentrate on Dustin. ----Lisa Hotchkiss Kidwell

8.12.10 I am so depressed most of the time because of our church and not being able to make it grow I have thought about getting out of the ministry sometimes I think this is not my calling because of it. I need to get away by my self and do some praying but I need others to pray to. This is a church where the people don't seem to want to pray. But as my profile says if we follow God to the end of the earth he will catch us when we fall or teach us to fly. Man I hope he teaches me to fly soon ---Homer Edmunds

8.12.10 Hi....Thanks for your return message... I would appreciate being put on the prayer chain. I am planning on coming down sometime before the end of the month.... my kids are going to Hawaii on the 28th so I am babysitting 4 of my grandkids then. I will be using that time to job search. I may come early. I actually got hired here but it is only a 2 day a week with no benefits job.... can't live on that. My prayer would be that I find the right employment & then am able to sell my house here in Franklin quickly as I need the money from it for a down payment & I don't want it sitting empty.... besides I still have to pay utilities on it while it is empty. I can stay at my son & daughter -in-laws while I house hunt so can take my time doing that but also then need to find the right house. Lots & lots of decisions... lots & lots of reasons to trust God to get me through the next few months! ---Thanks, Donna Rodgers This lady is moving to our area and is looking for a church home for herself and family. He lost their daughter a month ago while on vacation in the Dominican Republic... hit by a bus while on a motorcycle with her and she died in front of him, she was 11. He is now in a wheelchair and about to start physical therapy. His name is John Reiner.
