October prayer Request

Here are two requests that came in from our webpage:

(I) wish to request prayer for the healing of my friend Peggy Rich who lives in Ky. She has cervical stage 2 cancer and goes to Loiusville Ky on sept 15th to discuss her options. She lost her husband to cancer around a year ago. His doctors gave him 3-6 months to live, it was all thru his body and going into his head. He went to church with her turned his heart and soul over to God, his 6 months spreadto over 6 years. Please keep her on your prayers, Thank you, Lynda

My husband and I moved here from Ohio in June to take a job with someone we didn't know and we trusted that his business was growing and would grow. It did not and he was not a good person. We've been out of work since Jan/Feb. and our only income is my husband's vet. disability and my unemployment, which runs out in 5 weeks. We are getting desperate because we can find no work and I don't know where the Lord is taking us. Our friend who moved from PA with his son to work for the same man, is now out of work and cannot find any. We have food for now (we've not been able to buy Angel Food) and the rent is paid until October. Please keep us in prayer. I know the Lord is working for our good and for His Glory, but I feel desperate and everything seems dark. I just need to know that He'll take care of us and our 2 ancient cats. we are 63 and 60 and do whatever it takes, but they are 14 and 16 and depend on us. May the Lord forgive my fears. Thank you. I cannot talk on the phone or in person, as I'll break down. Our families all live in NY and we have very few friends here who know what is happening. - Dan and Doreen Ganoung

Prayer request for TBWC:
Pray for our 1@1 prayer team. I truly pray and hope more will join with us. Check our web page to see if you are listed and if not email me and I can add you.

Pray for our finances, with times hard for everyone the church is not exempt. Pray God will provide what we need to continue to become everything we need to become. We are very low at this time but are believing by admitting our circumstancing and trusting God, He is going to send what we need.

Continue to pray for direction. God seems to be using us the most through Angel Food and we are seeking how He would have us change a few things to give us more opportunity to reach their spiritual needs as well as their physical.

Pray for the leadership team.

Pray for those that have made commitments to Jesus this month in our services. People have been saved, sanctified and growing in Christ. I just pray they will continue on the correct path.

Pray for the lost that attend to find Jesus.

Pray for our teens and children’s department, pray for each kid and minister.

Pray for GriefShare. I ask all that will to pray each Tuesday evening before or during our meeting. We meet from 7-9 PM.

As the pastor I ask you to pray that I will do whatever it takes to stay as close to God as possible. I feel a real burden at this time to seek direction. I know I can’t lead the best I can if I am not as close to God as I possibly can be.
