8.12.10 The recovery of Connie Wilson, appendicitis surgery.

8.12.10 VBS this Saturday, pray for leaders, helpers and at least 50 kids. This is bigger than us so we need prayer. Finalization meeting Friday 7 PM We needs someone(s) to go around near the church to business and see if we can put flyers out for people to find us.
8.5.10 Pray for final preparations for VBS and to get the word out even more. We found out at FFD that there are businesses close that have children(dance studio) and young adult(work out at FFD) attendance. We need to get to know these people.
7.25.10 VBS People to help get the word out. People to sign up to help.
7.8.10 VBS from 9 AM - 2 PM

8.12.10 Church finances was a little over $100 short last month. This trend must be broken. Please pray that each of us will be obedient to what God calls us to give. Pray that God will bring us some tithers to help reach more for Jesus.
7.8.10 Finances - We were $300 short last month on our finances.

8.12.10 Youth teachers - We need someone(s) called of God to lead our youth. Our youth deserve it, so let's pray till we have someone.

8.12.10 Hi....Thanks for your return message... I would appreciate being put on the prayer chain. I am planning on coming down sometime before the end of the month.... my kids are going to Hawaii on the 28th so I am babysitting 4 of my grandkids then. I will be using that time to job search. I may come early. I actually got hired here but it is only a 2 day a week with no benefits job.... can't live on that. My prayer would be that I find the right employment & then am able to sell my house here in Franklin quickly as I need the money from it for a down payment & I don't want it sitting empty.... besides I still have to pay utilities on it while it is empty. I can stay at my son & daughter -in-laws while I house hunt so can take my time doing that but also then need to find the right house. Lots & lots of decisions... lots & lots of reasons to trust God to get me through the next few months! ---Thanks, Donna Rodgers This lady is moving to our area and is looking for a church home for herself and family. 8.12.10 I have a few... if you don't mind. To start, a friend of mine lost his wife to cancer 5 years ago. He lost their daughter a month ago while on vacation in the Dominican Republic... hit by a bus while on a motorcycle with her and she died in front of him, she was 11. He is now in a wheelchair and about to start physical therapy. His name is John Reiner.
Second, my friend and co-worker Becky, I told you about before. She lost her husband on 7/18. She is doing better, but hitting an angry phase. Her daughter (katie, 4) is just starting to talk about it to other people, and Becky is getting angry when people seem to have a problem with her being so honest about it with Katie.
Third is me. You know I struggle as a single mom. I have been in and out of Dr offices this summer. First a biopsy (cervical), then another procedure that cut off a chunk. Now I go on Friday to see if I am ok now or need surgery. I have in my head that I can't have this issue because I have to be there for Dustin. I guess the prayer I am asking for is to make sure I am ok now so that I can concentrate on Dustin. ----Lisa Hotchkiss Kidwell

8.12.10 I am so depressed most of the time because of our church and not being able to make it grow I have thought about getting out of the ministry sometimes I think this is not my calling because of it. I need to get away by my self and do some praying but I need others to pray to. This is a church where the people don't seem to want to pray. But as my profile says if we follow God to the end of the earth he will catch us when we fall or teach us to fly. Man I hope he teaches me to fly soon ---Homer Edmunds

7.29.10 Pray for the two ladies that have been attending to be able to come back and that the two new ladies will make it. Pray God will give them the strength to make the next meeting.

8.6.10 The ice machine at the camp has died and must be replaced. If anyone knows of someone who sells this type of product, give Mike a call at the camp (434.969.4058) and he will see if he can send some business their way.

8.5.10 Jack Dusek lost his job and needs our prayers.

8.2.10 Wally Yeagars niece had surgery to put two pins in her back. She lost feeling in everything below her bellybutton.

8.2.10 Building search team Jim W., Kim S., Debbie O., Ron L., and Barbara H. as they search for the building God wants us to stay in for awhile. This needs to be accomplished before the end of October so we can put the 2 months notice in.

8.2.10 praise report—TBWC ministered to around 150 people through Family Fun Day. Now pray God will show us how to continue to meet these people that we might be able to introduce them to Jesus.

7.30.10 Guests Sherry Krebs and Teki Hedgewood will return.

7.29.10 Sunday morning worship for Connie Wilson, Pastor Jan, and the worship team including video and auto techs, Pastor Scott’s anointing and for people to hear from God. We need God's guidance for the future.

7.25.10 People to get word out about Family Fun Day, A few more people to sign up to help and TBWC to get the vision to reach families through this event. People to sign up for VBS at event.

7.15.10 Jan Sinozich starts as minister of Worship, Evangelism and communications on August 1st. Pray we will be able to use what she brings with her and combine it to who we are and become more like Jesus.

7.25.10 People to come and hear about The Reality. People to find healing. People not from TBWC to come and find Jesus.
7.15.10 Sermon series on Healing. Pray God will use this to help those already attending TBWC and will draw more to Him through it.

7.15.10 my prayer request has expanded....pleases pray for my children. they are at camp holiday trails (a camp for special needs kids in charlottesville,va) they are WONDERFUL, God filled folks there. i don't know about the other kids and their families but please pray that mine are covered and...yes that those other children are covered as well especially if they don't know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior like mine do.(if you get a chance, checkout their website....they do lovely work there and give kids with disABILITIES a chance at real camp experiences.) plus they do it all by donations. at first,camp was out of the question. we were truly blessed because we didn't have the 10% usually required to attend AND we owed from last year but they graciously said 'come on...bring those faison kids !! we wanna see 'em!!!' LOL LOL

my family is also looking for a larger home. do you know of anyone that has one available? we need AT LEAST a 3/4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms (preferrably--thank you) in spotsy or f'burg. we'd like to move in late august or september. this house has a mold issue, the kids and i have asthma and well....it's not good.

lastly...i'd like to PRAISE GOD for being so merciful and good for helping doug find steady employment. now we can pay our bills, become INdependent and with that comes peace of mind.
